Mission Statement
The mission statement of The First Tee of Alaska is to positively impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
Purpose
To make golf more accessible to people of all diversities and social strata, particularly young people who otherwise may not have an opportunity to learn and play the game.
Vision
To teach The First Tee Nine Core Values™; providing the vehicle through which kids can accomplish their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become productive members of society with integrity, strong family values and commitment to community.
The First Tee of Alaska has reached a diverse group of young people and we’re growing everyday; our goal is to implement The First Tee National School Program throughout Alaska. We envision young people in rural communities experiencing our life-enhancing values through this program. We are committed to fostering partnerships with dynamic community leaders and businesses to ensure all young people can experience the positive impact The First Tee of Alaska can have on the next generation.
